#TheFridayDozen

It’s Friday before a long July 4th weekend – the perfect time for some music that celebrates all that is the fabric of America (sorry though, no Toby Keith or Lee Greenwood). Whether you’re a flag waiver, a de Tocqueville idealogue, or a wee bit cynical, today’s #TheFridayDozen definitely mixes up a little flavor for just about everyone’s USA tastebuds.

We start off decidedly youthful with American Girl, American Boy, Kids in America, and Young Americans. Nice, right? Then Green Day rips it up for the cynics and John Mellencamp talks about Little Pink Houses. Next we go slightly old school with Simon & Garfunkel, Grand Funk Railroad and Jimi Hendrix.

Let us know what we missed and as always, feel free to follow us on Spotify to see what we are listening to around the virtual office.
